The summer school will take place in Cádiz, a city considered to be the oldest in Western Europe, founded around the year 1100 BC with the arrival of the Phoenicians. The little silver cup, as the city is also known, is located in the southwest of Spain (in the Autonomous Community of Andalucía), and it is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean.

This city has been cradle of great civilizations, such as the Carthaginians, the Romans, the Visigoths and the Muslims, which have made up its long and influential history over the centuries. It is devoted to the sea and the trade, undoubtedly inherited from the previous settlements in its history and after being a strategic location in the trading activity with The West Indies.

Cádiz, with an area of 12 km2, has around 120000 inhabitants who feel privileged to enjoy the good weather and good food, the lovely beaches, the historical landmarks and its famous Carnival. Taking advantage of the arrival of summer, we recommend packing your swimsuit and visiting the sandy beaches of Cádiz during the beach break (see our program).
